Which image formats work?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP work in every modern browser. iPhone HEIC photos only decode in Safari; in Chrome, Firefox or Edge on a desktop, export them as JPG first (on iPhone: Settings, Camera, Formats, Most Compatible).

Will my portrait and landscape photos be mixed up?

No. The EXIF orientation stored by your camera is applied during conversion, so a photo taken sideways is rotated upright, and each image gets a page oriented to match it.

Is there a limit on how many images I can convert?

Fifty images per document. They all go into one PDF, in the order you select them.

Do the images get compressed?

Images are converted through your browser image pipeline at high quality (JPEG, quality 92) so that formats like WebP and BMP can be embedded in a PDF at all. A JPEG stays visually identical; a PNG screenshot with fine text may look very slightly softer. Images are never enlarged beyond their natural size.
